The Gathering Depot
Bringing people together for learning, fun, and fellowship.
At the Nome Preschool Association, we believe that bringing people together is the heart of what we do. Our events are centered around community gathering… creating warm, joyful spaces where families, neighbors, and friends can connect while making a direct impact on our young learners.
Every ticket purchased, dessert auctioned, pumpkin picked, and bough bought at our events goes straight back into our classrooms. Proceeds directly fund essential classroom supplies, from art materials and storybooks to hands-on learning toys, sensory bins, and play-based equipment that prepare our 3- and 4-year-olds for kindergarten.
Seasonal Family Gatherings: From our autumn Pumpkin Patch to our annual Holiday Bazaar, we bring Nome together to celebrate the seasons.
Dessert & Literacy Auctions: Gathering for sweet treats, story packages, and local artwork to keep early literacy thriving in our school.
Annual Auction and Raffle: A beloved local tradition that showcases incredible, handcrafted donations from our community, including fine artwork, custom quilts, authentic Native jewelry, and exclusive experience packages. This event celebrates the amazing talent of our local artists and makers while bringing neighbors together year after year to raise vital funds for our preschool!
Play & Learning Impact: Every gathering ensures our classrooms stay fully stocked with enriching, safe, and engaging supplies for every student.

Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Link Your Fred Meyer Card
1. Create or Log In to Your Account
Visit www.fredmeyer.com or open the Fred Meyer app on your phone.
Sign in to your existing account, or click "Create an Account" if you don't have one yet. (Make sure your digital account is linked to your physical Rewards Card or phone number/Alternate ID!)
2. Navigate to Community Rewards
On Web: Click on "My Account" (profile icon in the top right corner) and select "Community Rewards" from the left-hand menu.
On the App: Tap "Account", scroll down to "Payments & Services", and select "Community Rewards".
3. Search for Our Preschool
Click "Search for an Organization" or "Link Your Card".
Type Nome Preschool Association.
4. Select and Save
Find our name in the search results and click "Enroll" or "Save".
You'll see a confirmation screen showing Nome Preschool Association as your selected charity!

Zero Cost to You: Linking your card is 100% free and does not reduce your personal fuel points, store discounts, or rewards rebates.
Automatic Donations: Every time you shop at Fred Meyer and scan your card (or enter your phone number at checkout), Fred Meyer automatically donates a percentage of your purchase back to our classroom.
